Things you need to know about every River City adventure:

Whether it’s your first or fifteenth time whitewater rafting, we’ve got the adventure for you.  Looking for a family-friendly outing? A quick thrill after work? How about a longer trip with a river-side picnic? Whichever adventure you choose, it’s the right choice.

Most trips last approximately 3 hours (unless otherwise specified below), but that will vary depending on the water levels that day. Each trip begins with taking care of a bit of paperwork, getting fitted for gear, learning important safety information, and transportation to the river.

Signed waivers are required for each person in your group - originals only, no copies! Save time the day of your trip by bringing in waivers that are already signed. Click here for the adult waiver; waivers for minors can be found by clicking here.

Reservations are required in advance for all whitewater trips, and must have a minimum of 4 people (min. 8 for Falls of the James and min. of 6 for the Grip It & Rip It). Don’t have 4 people? We can help you make new friends by pairing you up with other groups, if available. If the minimum is not met we will have to reschedule.

Easily book online if the desired date of your trip is more than 3 days away. If it’s within 3 days of your desired trip, just give us a call. We may be able to still get you on a trip.

Be sure to check out our FAQ’s page for important information to prepare for your trip -- like what to bring (a good attitude) and what not to bring (like coolers, those aren’t allowed).
